Port Lapsurgery, Mid North Coast Bariatric & Hernia Centre have joined Hastings business owners and local personalities – our Stars – as they light up the dance floor with local dance teachers to raise funds for Cancer Council.

With 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, the money raised from this event will go towards Cancer Council NSW and their world-class cancer research, prevention programs, advocacy, and support services to help those affected by cancer at every point in their journey.

“We jumped at the chance to sponsor Dancing with the Stars. I see first hand, the amazing work the Cancer Council provides our community with their optimal support for cancer patients, their carers and their families,” said surgeon Dr George Petrou.
Port Lapsurgery’s expertise and long-term care encourages change in patients, not unlike the contestants who are ‘putting themselves out there’ in a dance competition, and all the work and commitment required to literally put their best foot forward, just as in life, or indeed to dance!

THANK YOU – Port Lapsurgery. We are so grateful for your generosity.
