Our Practice

Dr George Petrou operates at the Port Macquarie Private Hospital and the Port Macquarie Base Hospital.

Dr Petrou and his multi disciplinary team provide a much-needed and vital service to the Mid-North Coast including Foster, Taree, Coffs Coast and the New England region including Tamworth, Armidale, Gunnedah, Narrabri, Inverell and beyond therefore allowing patients and their families to take advantage of a state of the art service, which otherwise would not have been provided in the area.

Our remote patients are given the opportunity to FaceTime or Telehealth with our highly experienced surgeon and team that includes physicians, dietitians and support staff, along with an access after hours phone line to Dr Petrou’s assistant Louise making our service unique.
